Greenwich Winter Teams

AGH Travel teams are highly selective and are for players who are serious about playing field hockey at a very competitive level and who may have the desire to play as a collegiate athlete.

They are able and willing to organize their schedules to make multiple practices during the winter, spring and summer.

Players who can not commit to at least half of sessions can also consider weekly clinics.

U10: No tryouts or cuts, players register directly for program. U10 Winter Registration

U12-U19: Tryouts for training group and team placement

All players must be registered for tryouts in order to be put into training groups. This includes existing players.

High school players MUST BE FINISHED with their seasons in order to tryout.

• Mon 10/27: 6:15-7:45 pm

U14

• Sat 11/1: 5-6:30 or 6:30-8 pm (if needed)

U16

• Monday, 11/17: 6:15-9:15 pm
• Tuesday, 11/18: 6:15-7:45 pm
• Wednesday, 11/19: OFF
• Saturday, 11/22: 8:30-11:30 am

U19

• Monday, 11/17: OFF

TRYOUT DETAILS:

• Check in 30 minutes prior to start time

SEASON EXPECTATIONS

General Dates: December 2, 2025 - February 22, 2026 or March 1, 2026 (for U10, U12 & U19 NIT Teams).

Winter Break (no training): December 15, 2025 - January 2, 2025

On Court Training: Mandatory 2x per week (unless excused or arranged)

Regular Season Tournaments/Events: 4-6+ depending on team. Players expected to RSVP/attend all events unless excused or otherwise arranged

National Events: National Indoor Tournaments or Major Events are by selection and additional commitment/fee
