GREENWICH spring CLINICS
AGH 2024 Spring Clinics are a strong skill based programs for players who are looking for a smaller commitment than with a full team program. The emphasis is on developing the players’ skills, vision, ability to recognize when and where to pass, maintaining possession, and building ball speed and accuracy in passing.
There are no try outs for Spring Clinics and also no travel requirements or tournaments in the clinic program.
**NEW FOR SPRING 2024**
We are happy to be offering this spring AGH Specialty Skills Development Workshops on Fridays from 6-7:30 pm at Sacred Heart Greenwich. This is in addition to the regular Sunday Clinics.

Players need field hockey stick, shinguards, mouthguard, and turf shoes (no molded cleats)

Skills Development Workshops
GREENWICH
Specialty Skills Development Workshops. Each session will cover a specific topic in depth. Players sign up for the entire program (not by week). Topics to include:
- Passing/Receiving off Right/Left feet, Sweeps, Hits
- Elimination Skills on the ground/3D
- Overheads, Reverse Hits off the Right/Left feet
- Pivoting, turning, protecting
- Defensive skills, Elimination skills on the baseline
- Combined skills towards goal
- Drag flicks, complex skills
